Lawson LOVES his Daddy, and his Daddy loves him! They are the best of buddies. As Lawson gets older day-by-day, I see him becoming more and more of a Daddy's boy. Don't get me wrong. He loves his Momma, but he tells me all the time, "I Daddy buddy." and "I Daddy big guy." On the one hand I might be a little jealous, but mostly I'm just grateful that Jason is such a great Dad and that he loves spending time with his boy.
Sweet boys. Just hanging out.
An older picture, but a pretty typical scene around our house.
A few month ago Jason was sick. Since he was running fever I did my best to keep Lawson out of his face but telling him Daddy was sick and needed to rest. A few days in Jason's fever broke and he laid in the floor to play with Lawson at which point Lawson went and got a few of his tools and said, "I fix it Daddy."
"I snuggle Daddy."
Just a little train ride.
"I help Daddy."
Look how tightly he's holding on.
Cruising in Daddy's truck.
Filthy dirty from playing in the dirt...like his Daddy.
I came home to this scene once recently. Lawson and Daddy nap time.
"I fix it with Daddy."
Hmmm...wonder where he saw someone do this...
This is what they do with their hats when they aren't wearing them in the truck. Lawson likes Daddy's hat to be right beside his where ever it is.
