Many of you have asked if I was planning to start a blog to track my pregnancy, so here it is. To be honest, I could go on for hours about this pregnancy business and all the excitement Jason and I are feeling as we prepare for Baby Keyes, but I’ll try to stick to the highlights. To begin, you should know that Jason and I are SUPER excited about this whole thing. I’m not sure which of us is more impatient about the lengthy 40 week process of pregnancy. We just can’t wait to meet our little one. We’ve been married for 10 ½ years, so for our family and close friends, this has been a long time coming. I would like to clarify that we waited on purpose. We decided back in February to start our family. So many couples try to get pregnant for years and years, so we truly feel blessed to have this gift in just a few short months!
The most common request I’ve gotten is for belly pics. My sweet friend Katie even offered to come to my office every week and take them for me if I didn’t promise to take them myself. So, here they are: weeks 10 – 15. And, before you ask, NO it’s not twins (and I’ve had three ultrasounds to prove it)!! J
So, that’s it: the first post of many to come. I’d like to ask up front that you ignore any typos or grammatical errors. I’ll try to use there, their, and they’re correctly and I’ll use spell-check, but I make no promises. It’s a blog folks. Not a published novel. However, for my favorite grammatically correct friends out there (you know who you are), feel free to edit as you see fit and please let me know if I’ve made a terrible blunder. J
